The platform is operated under the UstadWork brand for the purpose of connecting clients and freelancers, managing project workflows, handling on-platform communications, and supporting payment collection and marketplace operations.
The UstadWork brand, platform interface, website design, platform text, platform logic, marketplace workflow systems, and related non-user platform materials are owned or controlled by UstadWork and its operator, except where third-party tools, open-source libraries, licensed assets, or user-generated content apply.
Gigs, job posts, proposals, uploaded files, deliverables, messages, and other content submitted by users remain subject to the rights of the users or rights holders who created or lawfully own that content. UstadWork does not claim ownership of user-created project materials beyond the limited rights needed to host, display, secure, moderate, and operate the marketplace.
UstadWork acts as a platform operator and marketplace intermediary. It is not automatically a party to every service agreement between clients and freelancers, but it may administer workflows related to funding, risk review, disputes, moderation, refunds, and platform policy enforcement.
UstadWork may work with approved payment, verification, hosting, and compliance partners to support marketplace operations. Ownership, verification, and compliance documentation may be provided to such partners or to competent authorities where reasonably required for onboarding, fraud review, settlement, legal compliance, or dispute handling.
