UstadWork allows legitimate, professional, remote digital services with real deliverables. Illegal, deceptive, exploitative, unsafe, or integrity-violating services are not allowed. Examples on this page are illustrative, not exhaustive.
Licensed or regulated service areas such as legal, finance, tax, medical, or compliance-related work are only allowed where the work is lawful and the provider holds any required qualifications.
UstadWork is designed for remote digital work. Physical on-site labor, referral farming,
and low-skill sign-up style tasks are outside this marketplace's scope even if they are not
explicitly listed in the automated checks.
Allowed On UstadWork
Software, websites, and product work
- Web development, landing pages, APIs, backend systems, SaaS work, and bug fixing
- Mobile apps, QA testing, DevOps, cloud setup, automation, and technical support
- WordPress, Shopify, e-commerce customization, CMS work, and no-code implementation
Creative and content services
- UI/UX design, graphic design, branding, presentation design, and video editing
- Content writing, copywriting, translation, localization, voice over, and audio editing
- SEO, digital marketing strategy, ads management, analytics reporting, and virtual assistance
Professional remote services
- Business consulting, lawful admin support, customer support, research, and data analysis
- Finance, accounting, tax, and legal support only where the service is lawful and the provider has any required qualifications
- Tutoring, proofreading, editing, coaching, and research support that do not violate academic or workplace integrity rules
Not Allowed On UstadWork
Illegal, fraudulent, or dangerous work
Services that break the law, help fraud, create safety risks, or enable harmful conduct are not allowed.
Examples: fake id, fake cnic, fake passport, fake bank statement, fake driving license
Hacking, phishing, malware, or account abuse
Requests to hack systems, bypass security, steal access, spread malware, or create information security hazards are prohibited.
Examples: hack account, hack facebook, hack instagram, hack whatsapp, recover hacked account
Fake reviews, fake engagement, or deceptive marketing
Artificial followers, bot traffic, fake reviews, deceptive identities, and manipulative engagement are not allowed.
Examples: fake review, buy followers, fake followers, fake subscribers, bot traffic
Academic or workplace dishonesty
Completing exams, assignments, job tests, or other work that should be submitted as someone else's own effort is prohibited.
Examples: write my essay, write my dissertation, complete assignment, do my homework, take my exam
Adult, exploitative, or sexually explicit services
Pornographic, exploitative, non-consensual, or sexually explicit services are not allowed.
Examples: adult video, porn video, nude video, sex chat, escort ad
Deepfakes, impersonation, and disinformation
Misleading manipulated media, non-consensual impersonation, fake news, and deception-focused content are prohibited.
Examples: deepfake, fake news, impersonate, voice clone, fake medical report
Financial abuse, regulated-risk, or account control services
Services that create major financial risk, such as trading signals, credit repair, or direct control over someone else's financial account, are not allowed.
Examples: trading signals, binary options, credit repair, debt relief, crypto mining
Privacy abuse and unlawful personal-data collection
Services that collect, leak, or misuse personal data without rights or consent are prohibited.
Examples: scrape emails, scrape phone numbers, skip tracing, private investigator, doxx
Outside Marketplace Scope
Physical or on-site labor
- Construction, plumbing, electrical visits, cleaning, moving, driving, delivery, or other in-person field labor
- Jobs that require a freelancer to travel to a location, handle physical goods, or perform unsafe on-site work
No real professional deliverable
- Referral-signup tasks, app-install farming, watching ads for payout, or posting duplicate low-value listings
- Tasks that do not require genuine skill, experience, or a clear remote deliverable for the buyer

How We Enforce This Policy
- We may remove or block gigs, jobs, proposals, messages, or uploads that appear to violate platform policy.
- We may ask for clarification, credentials, or lawful-use context before allowing certain listings.
- We may limit, suspend, or permanently restrict accounts that repeatedly post unsafe, deceptive, illegal, or abusive work.
- We may cooperate with payment, hosting, safety, or legal partners where review is necessary.
